Hi babes!
So today I'm coming to ya from the comforts of my loft's sofa in the midst of Hurricane Irma. Yes, I said Hurricane Irma. My fiance and I made the decision to stay home in Jacksonville, FL and weather the storm. Once we saw the hurricane made a drastic shift to the west coast we decided to stay. Traveling with two dogs isn't the easiest and being that our house is pretty high above sea level, validated our decision.
Now all that's left to do is wait and hope for the best. Praying for everyone in Hurricane Irma's path!
So. Here I am. Blogging away. What better way to wait out a hurricane than to get some blogging done?!
I'm excited about this post because I've had so many questions about my latest Instagram posts and what I've been wearing. Which brings me to the star of this blog post and the brand spotlight: Two Feathers.
Two Feathers is a sophisticated brand with timeless and functional pieces for the everyday modern woman. From mothers to entrepreneurs, their line is one that any woman in any profession can wear. Two Feathers is designed in California, and the collections feature effortless silhouettes created with refined techniques and complementary textures. This line is truly one that embodies sophistication and strength of women with timeless pieces.
For me, personally, I love when I can dress up or down certain clothing and with the Two Feathers' pieces I can do just that. Their Teresa Slip Dress I dressed up with a simple pair of black mules and added a neck scarf to give it a fun and flirty feel. Just as easy as it is to dress up, you can easily dress is down with a pair of white fashion sneakers and a black (or any color really!) leather motto jacket. It looks great either way and that's the beauty about the Two Feathers collection- being functional.
Not only was the Two Feathers slip dress amazing, but they're take on a pajama duster, the Bridget Pajama Jacket, was stunning and wore so well. I dressed this duster down with a simple black tank, dark wash denim and some nude mules. Since I styled the Teresa Slip Dress up, I figured I'd show this piece differently. However, this too, can be dressed up; worn over a sleek silk tank tucked in a pair of linen culottes. There ya go. A look to wear to any dressy occasion!
On a side note, I get asked all of the time where I shoot a lot of my pictures and one of the most common places I go to is St. Augustine, FL. I luckily live only about 10 minutes away and am charmed by the city every time I'm there. Walking through the streets, you can find so many picturesque and shot worthy spots! If you haven't been before, it's a city I highly recommend visiting. If you ever need suggestions on places to eat or spots you've seen me at before in St. Augustine don't hesitate to ask. I'd be happy to share!
So if your looking for a fun yet sophisticated brand with timeless pieces make sure to check out Two Feathers and their amazing collection. I'm having a hard time deciding what I'm going to order from them next as I love everything! Decisions. Decisions.
Well, that's all for now.
