STELLA'S COMPLETE LOOK:
BOTTOM: TWO FEATHERS' HARPER PANTS
After moving to Cleveland from NYC, I remember completely overhauling my closet.
Not only was my geography changing, but so was my lifestyle — DRASTICALLY. I went from a corporate bank career to one that was not quite defined (at the time), definitely way more casual, and generally involved spit-up and dirty diapers. Clearly, there was no need for my structured suits and office-formal attire.
So out they went.
Over the past few years, my career is definitely way more defined. My general lifestyle is a good balance of casual days and those all gussied up. Fortunately, those days of spit-up and dirty diapers are long behind me. I’m in a really good place and so is my wardrobe — especially when I have brands like TWO FEATHERS in my life.
WHAT I AM WEARING
One of the best parts of this new career I created for myself, is that I get introduced to and have an to opportunity interact with a number of up-and-coming brands on the women’s contemporary scene. I recently got connected with a California-based brand called TWO FEATHERS. The instant I clicked on their website I knew this brand would be the ideal match for my style, my business and the types of styling clients I work with.
The TWO FEATHERS collection is minimalist, simple and versatile. All the pieces can work together or can be worn separately. Best of all, they’re extremely comfortable for both work and play. This combination was probably the first “suit” I’ve worn in 5 years. It was definitely the most comfortable one — hello, elastic waist pants! I went from business related meetings in town, to hanging out with my kids without even considering an outfit change. I could also see myself wearing the jacket wrapped and tied without anything underneath for a (slightly more risqué) night on the town.
Don’t you just love when one outfit has so many possibilities?

One of my dear friends (Megan) also happens to be one half of a jewelry & accessory brand called THE SIS KISS. She and her sister (Marla) created this multi-strand gold necklace for me using my kiddos’ names and an Olde English font. I love that it’s sentimental and unique, but not too corny or precious — because that just ain’t me! THE SIS KISS is a great source for all sorts of fun “treat yo’ self” pieces and gift ideas. Most importantly, I’m so happy for my friend and love supporting local, female-owned businesses.
